B i o g r a p h y

Alfred Ng graduated from the Trinity College of Music in violin and has appeared at leading concert venues namely the Shanghai Concert Hall, Tianjin Concert Hall and the Leeds Town Hall. During his years in London, he has frequently performed with the Royal College Sinfonia, Trinity College Symphony Orchestra and Sinfonia, University of London Symphony Orchestra and the Leeds College Symphony Orchestra and appeared in performances lively broadcasted by the world’s leading broadcaster BBC. As a soloist he performed in various recitals organized by the Concert Artists Association London and the Ealing Festival in London, and was qualified to the Vivian Joseph Classical Concerto Competition.

 

Born Hong Kong, Alfred was accepted to the Trinity College of Music in 2009 under the tutelage of Gillian Findlay. He is currently performing with the Hong Kong String Orchestra, collaborating with the Hong Kong Dance Company and engaging in community affairs such as fundraising and charity concerts for the Tung Wah Group of Hospitals. In his unstinting efforts to break down barriers between classical music and contemporary music, he produced a jazz record in collaboration with the Leeds College of Music jazz department with his solo violin improvisation and sampled audio extracts of film music to Hollywood.

 

Alfred is also a renowned artist divine in painting and sketching.
